Universal City, Live Oak and Randolph AFB were all listed in the NWS warnings on the night of September 11, 2026, on the north edge of the golf-ball hail core that sat over Kirby and Converse. Hail size reports here ranged from quarter to golf ball, with 60 mph gusts and more than 2 inches of rain in spots.
